I purchased the Radian 65 about a year ago, primarily because it is very narrow, and I need to fit 3 kids in the back of a sedan. If I could fit a wider car seat in the car, I would definitely choose something else. It's easy enough to put together and install. My dislikes are:

1) Frayed edges. Some of the stiched edges have frayed and I have to cut off long pieces of thred from time to time.
2) Fabric cover does not stay attached to frame. Virtually every day I have to reattach it. It's a pain.
3) It's not very comfortable for the kid. The seat sits very upright, so head drooping and bobbing is a definite problem while napping. I can't imagine this would work well for an infant.

I've probably owned at least 7 different car seats over time and I find this one to be the most annoying.

We've had this seat for many many months now (maybe a year?) for my almost 3 year old son. We still have him rear facing in it (he's 34lbs) and so far I am very pleased with it. On a day to day basis I have no complaints whatsoever about the seat. I love that it is a fairly narrow and compact design & not nearly as bulky as the seat we have in our secondary vehicle (Safety 1st Air Protect). I have traveled by air & bag checked this seat several times as well. Only complaint as far as that goes is it's SUPER HEAVY. But that is certainly not a deal breaker since 99% of the time is permanently installed in the car. If you can afford it I highly recommend this seat. I hope I am as happy with it when I eventually turn my son forward facing at 40lbs. I debated between this seat or a Britax model (I have owned roundabouts in the past) but I am happy with my choice in the Sunshine Kids model.

After surviving a high speed rear end hit from behind while were were stopped in traffic on the highway, I felt good knowing that my children (10 mo. and two) were in nice, solid car seats. They were uninjured and the next day I ordered the exact same car seats again.
My husband and I also took these cross country via airplane twice and although they weren't the lightest to carry, I again felt good that they were made of tough metal inside and not just cheap plastic. The folding feature is very helpful for travel.
